May 2025 – Rakuten Securities Hong Kong has launched a new promotional campaign for new clients opening a Rakuten FX account between 1 April and 31 May 2025. Participants can earn up to 1.25 million welcome points (equivalent to approximately HK$5,000) and a chance to win a HK$1,000 hotel e-voucher.
Campaign Overview
The campaign is open to new clients who:
- Open a Rakuten FX account between 1 April and 31 May 2025.
- Have not held or closed any trading account with Rakuten Securities HK in the past 12 months.
- Register for the campaign by submitting valid information, including their registered email address and Rakuten FX account number, on the designated registration page during the account opening period.
How to Participate
- Open an Account: Complete the online application for a Rakuten FX account.
- Register for the Campaign: Submit the required information on the campaign registration page.
- Trade: Engage in trading activities within the 30-day trading period following account opening.
Rewards Structure
New clients can earn welcome points based on their trading volume during the 30-day trading period:
- 5 million or more: 250,000 points
- 1 million or more: 50,000 points
- 500,000 or more: 25,000 points
Additionally, the top three clients with the highest trading volumes, each achieving at least 5 million in trading volume, will receive a HK$1,000 hotel e-voucher.
Terms and Conditions
- Welcome points will be credited to the eligible account on or before 31 July 2025.
- Points are valid until the last calendar day of the 12th month from the day of credit.
- The rewards are non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions unless specified.
- If the eligible account is closed before receiving the rewards, they will be forfeited.
